The Opportunity
As a Technology Consulting - Geographic Information Systems Intern, you will engage in projects that involve capturing and analyzing spatial and geographic data. This role offers a unique chance to work with Esri Mapping Software, a leading suite of geographic information system products, to create, maintain, and visualize geographic maps and information. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing to the team's success.

Responsibilities
Supporting teams in the application and analysis of Geographic Information System (GIS) data
Participating in projects utilizing Esri Mapping Software to create and visualize geographic maps
Assisting in the design and structure of GIS architecture for efficient data processing and storage
Contributing to GIS conversion processes to maintain data accuracy across various platforms
Observing and learning from client support interactions to enhance GIS application skills
Engaging in research tasks to gather information for spatial analysis and mapping projects
Applying intellectual curiosity to explore innovative solutions within GIS applications
Collaborating with team members to foster inclusion and teamwork in project execution
Developing communication skills to effectively convey ideas and findings to diverse audiences
What You Must Have
Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application. The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
