Description
Robert Half Legal has partnered with a prestigious AM Law firm located in Century City to identify a highly skilled California-barred attorney to contribute to their Complex Litigation and Mass Tort Practice Group. This compelling opportunity is fully remote, but candidates open to a hybrid, on-site schedule will receive preferential consideration.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing high-profile complex litigation and mass tort matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, handling discovery, and preparing for trial.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide comprehensive legal support throughout all stages of litigation.
Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including complaints, briefs, motions, and discovery responses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedural requirements.
Conduct detailed legal research and case analysis, identifying trends and supporting arguments for client representation.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, opposing counsel, and court officials to facilitate case progress.
Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure top-quality legal representation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
At least 2 years of litigation experience, with an emphasis on complex litigation or mass torts strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of California and federal litigation procedures and rules.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively prepare legal filings and interact with team members.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, handle tight deadlines, and work independently when necessary.
Tech-savvy with experience using legal research tools, eDiscovery software, and other technologies.
