Description
Robert Half Legal is partnering with a prestigious defense firm in their search for a temporary, part-time California-barred Litigation Attorney. This role is fully remote and offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading defense firm and contribute to a critical upcoming trial.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with discovery tasks, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and managing discovery-related processes.
Handle law and motion work, such as drafting and filing motions, oppositions, and other pretrial pleadings.
Collaborate with the firm's attorneys to develop legal strategies and prepare for an upcoming trial scheduled toward the end of the year.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation objectives.
Ensure all work adheres to California legal standards and deadlines.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Must be actively licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
Minimum 5+ years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on discovery and law and motion practice.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage a part-time workload of approximately 20-25 hours per week.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Experience preparing for trial is preferred.
