Job Summary:
The Entertainment & Consortia Group Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing key relationships with entertainment industry clients and consortia group clients to drive group business to the hotel. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of the entertainment and luxury travel industry, and a proven ability to close high-value group sales.
The position involves working closely with operations, and other sales teams to create memorable and personalized experiences for clients, ensuring the hotel remains a top choice for high-net-worth individuals, celebrities, corporate clients, and luxury travel groups. You will oversee both entertainment and consortia group business, ensuring that our hotel remains the preferred choice for high-profile events, exclusive film shoots, and luxury travel groups. You'll work with prestigious consortia, such as Virtuoso, Select Hotels & Resorts, and Signature Travel Network, to foster relationships that elevate the guest experience to unparalleled heights, ensuring every booking reflects the sophistication, glamour, and personal touch we're known for.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to capture entertainment industry clients, including film studios, production companies, celebrity clientele, and event planners.
Establish and expand relationships with high-end consortia groups, including luxury travel agencies, VIP concierge services, and corporate travel managers.
Create compelling proposals, presentations, and sales collateral to promote the hotel's offerings to the entertainment industry and consortia clients.
Prospect, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key clients within the entertainment and consortia sectors to generate group bookings and room nights.
Identify and target new opportunities for corporate events, celebrity stays, film shoots, product launches, and luxury group travel.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand the hotel's presence and relationships within the entertainment and consortia markets.
Account Management
Manage and oversee accounts within the entertainment industry and consortia group sectors, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and service excellence.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that all client requests and requirements are met, from booking to post-event follow-up.
Monitor account performance and report regularly on sales metrics, booking trends, and revenue generation.
Collaborate with the Director of Leisure Sales to develop promotional campaigns and packages tailored to entertainment clients and consortia groups.
Work closely with the events and catering team to ensure seamless execution of events, meetings, and other group-related activities.
Provide regular communication and updates to senior leadership on client feedback, competitive landscape, and market trends.
Lead contract negotiations for group sales, ensuring competitive pricing while maximizing hotel revenue.
Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and provide oversight for any changes to booking terms or event logistics.
Work with finance departments to finalize contracts and invoicing.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in the entertainment and consortia group sectors, including seasonal demand, competitor offerings, and new industry developments.
Analyze market performance and adapt sales strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Reporting & Analytics
Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews, and present findings to senior leadership.
Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies as needed to meet revenue targets.
What we need from you:
Minimum 5 years of Sales related experience, with a focus on group sales in the luxury hotel, hospitality, or entertainment industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
Proven success in entertainment industry-related sales and consortia group business, with a demonstrated ability to cultivate high-value relationships.
Experience negotiating contract, closing deals, and managing group accounts in a luxury hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of the entertainment and consortia group sectors.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel sales management software (e.g., Delphi, Opera).
Motivated, driven, and focused on achieving results.
Innovative thinker with talent for tailoring solutions to client needs.
Skilled at performing under pressure and adapting to evolving business demands.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first approach.
This position may require occasional travel to industry events, trade shows, and client sites.

What you can expect from us:
The hourly pay rate for this role is $45.67 to $50.48 . This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica Beach . This position is eligible for bonus pay.
