The Opportunity:

When our country's cyber security is on the line, simply reacting is not enough-we need a plan. And when that plan needs to support our Department of Defense cyber security strategy and policy , we need strategic policy development. That's why we need you, a senior cyber security policy spe cia list with the expertise required to analyze the policies that determine our cyber resilience.

As a cyber strategic planning and policy spe cia list on our team, you'll lead the assessment of the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer current cyber policies , the coverage of those policies , and areas of risks. You'll evaluate how policies stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you'll advance the development of a strategic cyber roadmap. You'll work to ensure the client operates securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment.

You Have:

Knowledge of the Department of Defense and its components

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices

Knowledge of threat and user activity monitoring practices and applications

Ability to translate technology, intelligence, or cybersecurity information into enterprise-level reports and strategy documents

TS / SCI clearance

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience with cybersecurity or Information Technology matters, or 14+ years of experience with cybersecurity or Information Technology matters in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience within the DoD at a senior-level office or Joint Command

Experience overseeing a cybersecurity focused-team, project, or work effort

Knowledge of Zero T rus t principles and their applications

Knowledge of CATMS or a similar task management system to direct tasking across a broad organization

Ability to c ond uct required research and coordination to represent leadership intent and interests in a Joint Office

Possession of excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills to communicate with executives and C-suite equivalents

DoD 8570 IAT Level III, IAM Level III, or CSSP category Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
