Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the NAVY RECRUITING COMMAND of NRD NEW YORK NY. Responsibilities You will be responsible for scheduling exams and appointments as required. You will interview personnel to obtain data and additional information as needed to complete records or to correct discrepancies. You will maintain liaison with other offices and activities both inside and outside the recruiting organization. You will prepare records for transfer, ensuring all information has been reviewed and is in accordance with current directives. You will use computer hardware and software to support the operations of the office. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing automated systems to maintain personnel records; 2) Establishing personnel forms, records and files in accordance with policies and procedures; and 3) Ensure all required entries are completed accurately and timely into the appropriate computer software systems.
