The Light Industrial Retail Associate

Monday - Friday starting at 6 am - 230. Pay is $14.50 per hour.

We are searching for a Light Industrial Retail Associate who will be responsible for multiple tasks including: handling and preparing products for sale, maintaining stock levels, and assisting customers in our retail space. In this position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment.

Responsibilities :

Ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

Prepare products for sale, by labeling, packaging, and assembling smaller components according to specifications.

Operate light-duty production machines or equipment as trained and needed for processing and packaging.

Perform basic quality checks and report any defects or inconsistencies in products.

Maintain organized and accurate inventory records, assist with stock counts as needed. :

Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing information about our products.

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system.

Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and retail area.

Stock shelves, create displays, and ensure products are presented according to merchandising guidelines.

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in both the industrial and retail environments.

Handle materials and potentially sensitive genetic products with care and according to established guidelines.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems (or willingness to learn).

Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 25-50] pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Prior experience in a light industrial or retail setting is preferred, but on-the-job training may be provided.
