Responsibilities If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing substantive budgetary guidance and financial analysis support to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of California. Typical work assignments will include: Provide budget and financial management for the District. Provide budget recommendations to management based on sound analysis and expert knowledge of budgetary cycles, policies, and best practices. Managing the certification of obligations for the district ensuring all financial records, i.e. obligations, expenditures, delivery status and available balances, are accurate and supported with proper fund control documentation. Regularly monitoring payroll accounting accuracy to catch improper account charges between direct and reimbursable budgets. Working with EOUSA to ensure accuracy of budget requests and adjustments.
