As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a healthcare location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible throughout your shift, providing a reassuring presence and delivering exceptional customer service to all staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to the healthcare location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with security-related inquiries and directions.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and other personnel to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
