About the Position The Project Manager provides overall direction for multiple projects within our Technologies division with a specific focus on Building Management Systems. Project Managers have overall bottom-line responsibility for profit and loss and consequently carry the authority appropriately. Project Managers provide technical and engineering support as required by the projects needed. This is a position on our national team that will require travel to a project site. Can develop and deliver executional strategies Can project financial outcomes Strong executional skills related to a project lifecycle Day in the Life Oversee total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure project is constructed in accordance with project scope, budget and timeline. Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between both internal and external members on the project including, but not limited to: Clients, General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, General Foremen, and union officials. Authorize and/or approve all project staff transactions including choice of superintendent, general foremen, foremen, staff volume and wages. Provide direction to planning, scheduling and any applicable engineering functions Participate in estimating projects and writing bid proposals. Review and approve purchase requisitions, payment approvals; send invoices and change order requests. Assists in the implementation/interpretation of corporate safety programs and ensures OSHA guidelines are followed. Ensure that all company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to and interpret the policies. Ensure the maintenance of all official project documentation and logs. Maintain a thorough understanding of labor agreements and standards specific to projects. Minimum Qualifications BS in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering or equivalent in job experience or Building Management Systems technology field experience. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills. Strong attention to detail and ensures maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project. Comfortable managing multiple projects at one time. Knowledge of general construction standard practices. Experience with Estimating Software a plus. Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus. Salary Range * $80,000 - 105,000 annually,based on experience and qualifications. Additional travel pay and car allowance.
