As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding access control protocols. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and/or suspicious activities within the location.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
