Who You Are
You'll perform as a member of the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Supplier Operations Organization as a self-motivated individual ready to join the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) team.
What You Will Be Doing
You'll serve as a facilitator at Supplier MRLs, interfacing with supplier executives, F-35 JPO customer, F-35 program office, internal Lockheed Martin assessors, and other LM Business Units such as Development and IFG.
The expectation is to facilitate MRL events in coordination with preparation and post activity risk management to understand the needs, and to reduce supplier risk to all supporting LM business units overall. You'll support with contractual language and lead the MRL team to successful executed deliverables.
You'll organize and lead a focused MRL team at numerous suppliers, to accomplish successful manufacturing readiness assessments, prepare cross functional team for structured engagement, formally report back to the customer, and ensure that the supplier continues to mitigate risk. You'll collaboratively identify suppliers with potential risks to assess for future MRA's and negotiate internally with supply chain management to secure approval for those assessments to take place.
Ideally you'll have strong communications & facilitation skills, critical thinking on the fly, and experience leading teams. You'll have the ability to give executive level presentations to diverse groups and be able to travel frequently; up to 30% of your role will involve travel.
You'll demonstrate the ability to formulate effective action and project plans, and integrate with cross functional teams to achieve results. You'll brief and interact with leadership on a routine basis.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience in supply chain, development engineering, production operations, and Industrial Engineering
Professional speaking experience
Strategic Process Management
Risk mitigation
Experience Leading Team(s)
Project management
Experience with cross functional teams
Desired Skills:
The ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including internal and external customers, subcontractors, hourly employees, executive employees

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
