The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Supply Chain & Logistics Analyst you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Create production and procurement schedules for area of responsibility
Develop and maintains operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand
Manage manufacturing purchasing requirements including resolution on delivery timing and quantity
Provide a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making and improve business results by providing analysis and data interpretation
Optimize product sequence to reduce change overs and increase productivity
Create inventory improvements in turns and non working inventory, analyze material flow parameters, safety stock order quantity, lot size, make cycle frequency and replenishment interval
Assist with Capacity Planning activities
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Three (3) combined years of supply chain, planning, and/or logistics experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience with SAP
Advanced data analysis & Microsoft Excel skills
APICS CPIM certification or willingness to pursue
Six Sigma Green Belt experience or certification
Lean Manufacturing experience
Work Location: Indianapolis, IN
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
