Summary You will serve as the SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) at CENTER FOR SERVICE SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will analyze customer network security configurations to verify previously identified threats or vulnerabilities have been resolved. You will develop information systems security requirements to safeguard system information. You will brief managers on the planning, design, and development of information technology (IT) systems throughout an organization You will assess information technology (IT) system modifications to identify the impact on current, new, or existing systems and subsystems. You will train others on information security to safeguard classified information. You will serve as the lead for all ECR IT support across the CSS domain. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS 12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Manages complex IT systems and aligns them with government policies and mission objectives; 2) Develops solutions for Electronic Classroom (ECR) initiatives, manages critical systems like C2OIX and NMCI, and/or implements a wide range of Knowledge Management tools to support collaboration and best practices; 3) Applies knowledge and skill in assuring Information Assurance (IA) and system security procedures and policies are adhered to for all applicable IT systems; 4) Analyzes and resolves complex IT issues, evaluate emerging technologies, and/or apply acquisition management policies to recommend suitable IT products and services; and 5) Represents the command at professional forums, conferences, meetings, cross-functional teams, integrated Product/Process teams, work groups and briefings.
