Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Production Technician to oversee daily production operations in assigned area. This hands-on role involves supervising production processes, troubleshooting equipment, ensuring quality standards, and leading a team of technicians and operators to meet production goals safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate production priorities in assigned area to ensure product quality and mchine uptime

Set up, operate, and maintain pressing machinery

Train, mentor, and support team members assigned to area to ensure adherence to procedures and standards

Monitor production metrics and implement improvement measures

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues promptly

Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize production processes

Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certifications preferred

Preferred - Minimum of 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment setup, and production flow

Mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings and work instructions

Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
