Job Summary
The Manager, Market Insights & Analytics will be a key contributor to West's vision of enhancing its global market intelligence program and commercial master data efforts. This role is integral to supporting West's growth planning process through strong data analysis and insightful reporting that will drive business performance and inform strategic decisions. Partnering with key stakeholders, this highly collaborative role will help to translate data into appropriate narratives that articulate needed business insights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead efforts around the application of business intelligence and analytics to deliver commercially focused insights and solutions that enable scenario planning, market sizing, and determining financial impact. Clearly communicate and translate those insights to internal stakeholders across the organization.
Partner with the Market Intelligence team to further improve the integration of internal and external sources, creating the ability to better drive a culture of data-informed decision-making.
Develop and present comprehensive reports and dashboards that visualize key sales metrics and performance indicators
Ensure that reports are easily understandable and accessible to stakeholders at all levels
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product Management) to identify data gaps and lead initiatives to improve overall data collection and quality.
Alongside Director, Market Intelligence, oversees the integration of data from various sources, including CRM systems, industry pipeline data, and SAP, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decision-making.
As part of the Market Intelligence and Commercial Master Data team, utilize statistical tools and data modeling techniques to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Identify, quantify, and present key findings across industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior to inform decisions around company initiatives and campaigns.
Develop data procedures and policies while ensuring the company meets industry best practices.
Cultivate transparent and robust working relationships across the organization, ensuring open communication about the measurement of financial, data-driven, and impact performance milestones against stated goals.
Lead collaboration with D&T to ensure outputs and deliverables align with Commercial needs.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or other quantitative field or equivalent experience
Master's Degree preferred
Work Experience
Minimum 8 years experience in business intelligence and data analytics
Strong knowledge of CRM and SAP systems
Proven ability in data analysis, market modeling, and KPI development
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficient with various data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Excel, Python/R a plus)
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Must be business savvy and have the ability to grasp and teach novel business models and strategic plans of the enterprise.
Highly adept and capable of building and maintaining trusting partnerships and relationships across the board with cross-functional partners, company vendors, and customers.
Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
Able to comply with the company's safety and quality policies at all times.
Travel Requirements
10%: Up to 26 business days per year
Physical Requirements
