We are looking for an experienced Office Manager / Accounting Clerk to join our team in Ludlow, Vermont. This is a long-term contract position ideal for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in accounting functions and office management. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.

Oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes.

Utilize Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite tools to track and analyze financial data.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to address billing or account-related concerns.

Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.

Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting and administrative workflows.

Monitor and reconcile financial transactions, resolving discrepancies as needed.

Support budgeting and financial reporting activities as required.

Coordinate office supplies and resources to maintain a well-functioning workspace.

Requirements - Proven experience in office management and accounting roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Familiarity with billing functions and financial record-keeping.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Ability to provide outstanding customer service and resolve account-related issues.

High attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
