Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer?to join our Support team. The candidate will work closely with the development team and our customers in the DoD and IC. The position will be on-site in Washington, DC at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and requires a TS/SCI w CI Po What you will do Must meet all qualifications and skills of a Mid-Level developer plus possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plan and lead major technology assignments. Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others. What you need to have Bachelor's degree related to the labor category from a college or university accreditrted by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 2 years of related senior experience, for a total of 10 years, as a substitute to the Master's degree. Experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java, JEE, or Python Experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Docker, Bitbucket, and Jenkins Experience with supporting systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and software development Experience with Linux OS and command line interface Top Secret/SCI w/Poly Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliant Certification, including Security+ or CISSP, within 6 months of start date What we'd like you to have Experience with Open Systems Architecture design principles Experience with automated testing and DevOps technologies Experience with CI/CD technologies, including Ansible, Jenkins, and GIT Experience with Agile development or Scrum Knowledge of user interface (UI) technologies, including React or AngularJS Knowledge of Apache NiFi and Kafka Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
