Position Highlights

Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours

Qualifications

Education

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Imaging or related field of study required (4 years relevant work experience in lieu of a degree)

Experience

3 Years of experience as a Radiology Technician in multiple modalities or PACS experience required,

1 year field service experience preferred.

Position Responsibilities -

· Provides onsite and virtual day to day PACS operations management.

· Co-ordinates interface between the PACS, RIS, and Voice Recognition systems.

· Reporting - Provides management and statistical reporting, including ad hoc report development.

· Information Technology Department Duties

Skills: Applications, such as database used for patient logging procedures and work processing and spreadsheets for statistical purposes required. Requires use of PC computers; ability to reason, process, communicate; requires knowledge of ADA, EEOC, hospital and department guidelines, and HIPPA requirements.
