Our client, a leader in the foodservice and distribution industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk I to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk I, you will be part of the finance department supporting the accounts payable team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to multitask effectively, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk I

Location: Woodridge, IL

Pay Range: $18.26 per hour

Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

Oversee the timely processing of invoices received from vendors for factory-direct orders.

Audit factory direct invoices for correct cost and calculate freight in factory direct invoices.

Research Sales Department inquiries on factory direct invoices and freight rates.

Process factory direct invoices into the Accounts Payable System.

Escalate issues beyond your scope of authority to the appropriate parties.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or GED.

1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field.

Computer literacy and experience in writing business correspondence.

Ability to problem solve, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills.
