The Position:
Oversees and manages construction projects for facilities, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Responsibilities include managing relationships and coordinating with contractors and subcontractors; obtaining necessary permits; managing project schedules, budgets, and resources; and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Construction Project Management
Review lease agreements with respect to condition of space construction and construction exhibits
Support development and completion of plans and specifications to meet project requirements and ensure quality and compliance.
Organize, schedule, and lead team meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
Read and interpret architectural drawings to ensure they meet Company requirements
Create and maintain project schedules, coordinate materials and labor for remodels and new construction.
Collaborate with government agencies to obtain permits, approvals, inspections, and occupancy certificates.
Monitor project schedules using critical path methodology to ensure timely completion.
Budget
Prepare presentations and budgets for management review to inform strategic decisions.
Support contract administration, including scope of work, unit costing, bid alternates, and operational constraints.
Compliance
Oversee project safety compliance by reviewing and approving contractor safety plans.
Assist in contract completion and monitor compliance with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Enforce contractor obligations.
Ensure sites are completed and are ready for operations to commence.
Review pay applications in accordance with contract agreements.
Ensure tenant allowances are received in timely manner.
Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting building specifications.
Knowledge of critical path scheduling and related software.
Familiarity with budgeting and accounting principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project.
The salary range of $87,000 - $146,000 is just one component of Panasonic's total package. The final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred.
5 years of owner facilities construction project management.
Willing to travel up to 25% - domestic.
