THIS REQ IS FOR 20 25 INTERNS WHO WORKED IN A ROLE THIS SUMMER. NEW NET AVAILABLE INTERNSHIP ROLES WILL OPEN IN SEPTEMBER
Supports business continuity by responding to escalated data recovery requests for example complex and urgent requests that help desk technicians cannot address for associates across the company performing tier 1 data repair and recovery for example recovering information froma laptop desktop and other mobile technology and transferring old or recovered data to a new or repaired system
Creates and maintains a knowledge base of documentation to support forensic investigations by documenting chain of custody for example locationof collection investigator name @type of media documenting technical processes and procedures that provide enough detail for replication andreproduction of the same results writing technical notes in accordance with and following industry best practices and creating high quality technicalreports for use in court and other internal employment and litigation decisionmaking conversations
Supports the Walmart eDiscovery and Forensic Services Lab quality management system by offering ideas for process improvements identifyingpolicies procedures and practices that can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of laboratory operations researching documenting andpresenting new technology information to the team and maintaining certification critical to lab operation and accreditation through continuingeducation training and successful completion of proficiency test
Supports cyberrelated forensic investigations by identifying possible sources of information for example emails VPN logs voicemails andappropriate retrieval methods for example physical image versus logical image recovering key intelligence from intact physical electronic devicesfor example hard drives thumb drives media cards cell phones on and off Walmart premises that utilize a widerange of continuously changinghardware and software for example dynamic consumer market with constant changing end user devices recovering key intelligence virtuallyutilizing various methods for example enterprise network acquisition of data for workstations and servers from electronic devices across the globethat utilize a widerange of continuously changing hardware and software for example dynamic consumer market with constant changing end userdevices while still protecting the confidentiality of the investigation creating physical images and logical images to capture and preserve evidence forlitigation or for use in forensic investigations validating content using algorithms and creating duplicate images of electronically stored informationESI in order to preserve it on corporate evidence servers as preservation for ongoing business needs performing independent impartial andobjective examinations of evidence for relevant and identifiable information to support or disprove allegations of internal policy violation or otherinvestigativelitigation needs and partnering with Legal and Compliance to ensure security laws are not violated domestically or internationally
Demonstrates uptodate expertise and applies this to the development execution and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice andguidance to others in the application of information and best practices supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs andbuilding commitment for perspectives and rationales

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field OR 1 year's
experience in information technology or related field within the last 5 years'.

ASCLD/LAB procedures and policies, Certification in computer forensic tools and processes, including but not limited to Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), and/or Guaranteed Forensic Authenticator (GFA), Computer facilitated crimes in government and/or private sector fields., Courtroom testimony experience related to computer forensics & network analysis, eDiscovery & ESI related litigation support to include EnCEP certification, eDiscovery methodology and industry best practices, Firewall rules & filtering, intrusion detection/prevention devices, or penetration testing for networks and stand-alone devices, Installation, repair and troubleshooting of computer hardware for desktop computers, laptops and servers, Mobile device forensics to include JTAG and chip off techniques., Network intrusion investigations & incident response., Physical/digital evidence handling & documentation consistent with courtroom best evidence rules and ASCLD/LAB requirements., Programming languages including but not limited to C++, Python and EnScripts., Video enhancement and analysis, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
