Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining positive client relationships. This position offers an excellent opportunity for you to utilize your expertise in accounts receivable processes.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Handle commercial collections to recover outstanding payments while ensuring effective client interactions.

Apply cash payments to appropriate accounts and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.

Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.

Prepare and review billing statements to ensure all charges are correct and compliant with company policies.

Collaborate with internal teams to address client inquiries related to accounts receivable.

Maintain detailed records of transactions and collections for auditing purposes.

Generate regular reports on accounts receivable status and provide insights to management.

Assist in improving processes related to cash applications and billing functions.

Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company standards in all accounts receivable activities.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.

Proficiency in commercial collections and cash application processes.

Strong knowledge of billing functions and cash collections.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Familiarity with financial software and tools.

Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and resolve client concerns.

Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
