Hybrid Epicor Application Developer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to bring on an Epicor Application Developer to support a Manufacturing client in West Hartford, CT. This person will be required to go onsite 2-3x a week. This person will be brought on to help design, develop and maintain customizations and integrations within their Epicor ERP environment to help support evolving business needs. On a day to day, they will be responsible for collaborating with the IT teams to set specifications for new applications, design creative proto@types, write source code to program complete applications with deadlines, conduct functional and non-functional testing, troubleshoot and debug, and evaluate existing application to reprogram, update and add new features.

Skills and Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

· Proven experience as an application developer

· 2+ years of experience developing in the Epicor ERP environment (preferably Epicor 10 or later)

· Experience in designing and building applications

· 5+ years of experience with SQL on SQL Server or Sybase

· Experience with NODEJS

· Experience writing React user interfaces

· In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools

· Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles

· Must be a team player with excellent communication skills

· Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
