As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment to deliver high-quality products safely, on time, and efficiently. This hands-on role supports process improvement initiatives, new product introduction, and collaboration between Engineering and Manufacturing to drive operational excellence.Roles and Responsibilities Define and control production processes, including tooling and equipment selection and implementation. Serve as a liaison between Engineering and Operations to ensure smooth production and issue resolution. Validate design specifications and their application on the shop floor for new products, tools, and equipment. Support tool and process development in coordination with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. Assist with new product introduction (NPI) process development, documentation, and continuous improvement. Create, verify, and validate CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers using CAM software (NX, Mastercam). Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, NX) to evaluate designs and support simple fixture or jig creation. Contribute to troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. Apply Lean principles to drive efficiency and reduce waste. Support the integration of additive manufacturing (3D printing) into production workflows to improve processes.Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering field(OR High School Diploma / GED with 4+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience)Eligibility Requirements This role will require you to be 100% on site. Must be currently legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.Desired Characteristics Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Hands-on experience with CMM inspection and metrology principles. Experience with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, NX, Mastercam). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks or projects.
