POSITION SUMMARY:

With minimum supervision, responsible for any combination of calculating, posting and verifying of accounting data of a complex nature exercising independent judgment in one or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Payroll/Labor and General Ledger.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

Maintains supplier correspondence of 5 locations.

Supplier Statement Reconciliations

Answering Supplier e-mails

Queuing invoices for processing

Loading Service invoices into Invoice Visibility

Working on Accounts Payable setup entries at month end.

Maintaining Utility and Temp labor accruals.

Hourly Payroll - weekly

*Preparation of time card data for labor distribution and payroll requirements.

Investigate questionable data and take corrective action when necessary. Elevate as needed. Strong ability to problem solve.

Interface with functional departments, management, suppliers and customers.

Perform other related responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Five years Accounting/Payroll experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.

Personal computer experience (i.e. Outlook, Excel) and data entry required.

Ability to accurately input and calculate numbers and operate a 10-key calculator by touch.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Accurate typing/input skills of 35 WPM may be required.

Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work with others and be a participative team player.
