Department Information
Enrollment Management includes five divisions, Admissions, Student Financial Services, Registrar, Military and Veteran Success, and Extended Studies. These units all function as part of a larger unit to reach, inform, and support potential, incoming and current students at CSU Pueblo. The division of Enrollment Management is committed to supporting the university as a comprehensive provider of services to prospective and current students, parents of students, and past students. With this, Enrollment Management functions to support our student population and the barriers they may face while attaining their education.
This work unit exists to facilitate communication with internal and external customers contacting the university through the university's main phone line as well as email and chat platforms. The unit also interacts with occasional in-person visitors in need of direction
Description of Job
The Administrative Assistant II is responsible for answering all calls that come into the main phone line as well as the general email box, and answer the the website chat function, respond to internal stakeholders through campus communication. This position will be responsible for keeping the campus directory up to date, supervising student employee operators, and to support campus by identifying communication issues or internal and external customer needs that need to be elevated for support.

Primary Duties:
Answer main campus phone number
Answer all calls that come into the main line and direct them to the appropriate office.
Answer general campus email and chat function -- serving as an online operator
Answer email inquiries and the online chat feature. Manage the inquiries and direct external online stakeholders appropriately.
Schedule and supervise student employee operators
Supervise 2-3 student employees, as they will assist in answering the phone or chat functions. Students are hired to support after hours and lunch time. Responsible for scheduling that support as needed to maintain consistent operation.
Support Program Asst I with Enrollment Management event support
Provide backup support for enrollment related events. The Program Asst I may ask for phone or customer service coverage as well as organizational and operational support as needed.
Salary: $39,852 - $42,000
Due to budget constraints, we have a constricted wage range for this position. We are only able to accept applications from persons with three or fewer years in the Administrative Assistant series; persons with three or more years related experience outside of the Administrative Assistant series are also encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualifications
Experience Only:
Two (2) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position
OR
Education and Experience:
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to two (2) years
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with a multi-line phone system
Familiarity with CSU Pueblo and campus services
Experience with staff scheduling
Customer service experience
