Summary You will serve as the Chief Data Engineer/Analyst, United States Marine Corps Forces, Pacific. The position is located at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time. Responsibilities You will use analytical, statistical, and programming skills along with AI tools to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets, then use this information to develop data-driven solutions to our difficult distribution channel challenges. You will conduct extensive studies and comprehensive analysis of functions, methods, procedures and practices pertaining to new and/or improved business processes. You will design, develop, and scale technologies, and capabilities related to data science, data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and AI-enabled systems in support of business functions. You will apply scientific and statistical standards to data evaluation and analysis in the development of AI models. You will make recommendations in the design of the framework for how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed across the Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC).
