Job SummaryThe Load Out Operator uses PLC computer touchscreens for loading outbound trucks with finished product and is responsible for ensuring a steady flow of material for processing.ScheduleMonday to Friday - 6:00pm to 6:00am and every other weekend Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.- Operates yard and plant equipment to load materials.- Washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas as necessary using high pressure power washer.- Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.- Keeps area clean; raw materials piled out of driving area.- Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.- Reviews and evaluates qualitative data reports to verify that product meets Company specifications.- All other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications- Must be 18 years of age.- High School diploma or GED required.- Must be able to drive truck with standard transmission.- Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.Preferred Qualifications- Professional CDL preferred but not required.- Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.- Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.- Ability to review & comprehend qualitative data reports to verify product meets specifications.- Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.Physical Demands- Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.- Frequently must push, pull, move or lift up to 100 lbs.- Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.Work EnvironmentJob functions will be carried out in a plant environment which requires tolerance for high heat and/or cold temperatures.Darling Ingredients is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration to qualified applicants without regard to r ace, color, creed, r eligion, age, pregnancy, s ex, s exual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military service, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state and local law.
