Full Job DescriptionOur global FinTech client is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team for the next 4 months, 40 hours/week. This role is hybrid onsite 5 days a week in Jersey City, NJ. Role SummaryThe Technical Writer (Product Associate - API) will create and manage developer-facing documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and training materials. This role supports the merchant integration experience and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure content is clear, accurate, and user-friendly.Top Must Have Skills3+ years of technical writing experienceProficiency in Bitbucket, Jira, ConfluenceAbility to review YAML specifications and Pull RequestsExperience with markup languages (DITA, HTML, XML, CSS)Strong writing, research, and editing skillsBachelor's degree in a relevant fieldAdditional QualificationsUnderstanding of Open API (YAML) and JSONFamiliarity with CMS tools (WordPress, Drupal)Knowledge of Swagger, SDKs, authentication, and programming conceptsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyProficiency in Excel (Macros, Power Query)ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including guides, FAQs, and specificationsTranslate complex technical concepts into user-friendly contentCreate training materials such as video scripts and webinar decksReview and update documentation for clarity and accuracyOrganize content within CMS platforms for easy accessEnsure consistent tone and style across all documentationSupport troubleshooting and product support through clear documentationContribute to product design by enhancing user-centric documentationIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
