The Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice (OJJ) is committed to protecting the public by providing safe and effective individualized services to youth, who will become productive, law-abiding citizens. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Administrative Coordinator 4to provide advanced administrative support to departmental leadership and program operations. This position plays a critical role in coordinating office functions, managing documentation, and supporting the agency's mission to promote the rehabilitation and reintegration of youth in the juvenile justice system.

Minimum Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Three years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

Coordinate administrative processes for maintenance operations across juvenile justice facilities

Track and manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and service requests

Assist with procurement of supplies, equipment, and vendor services

Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and compliance documentation

Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence related to facility upkeep

Monitor budgetary expenditures and assist with invoice processing

Communicate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely service delivery

Support emergency response coordination and facility readiness

Position-Specific Details:

Work Location: This vacancy is located at the Bridge City for Youth in Bridge City, Louisiana.

Appointment Type: Part time/ WAE position

Work Schedule:The incumbent of this position will work 24 hours a week
