Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. This short-term contract to full time position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others. The role involves handling a high volume of customer interactions while maintaining a detail-oriented approach and empathy.

Responsibilities:

Manage a high volume of incoming calls, averaging over 100 per day, and provide exceptional customer support.

Upload and organize documents into files, ensuring accuracy and efficiency with a daily target of 20+ uploads.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints with a detail-oriented approach, empathy, and patience, even in challenging situations.

Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Utilize multi-line phone systems to manage calls and ensure prompt responses.

Demonstrate multitasking abilities by managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Maintain a pleasant and detail-oriented demeanor during all customer interactions.

Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office applications.

Experience working with multi-line phone systems.

Ability to handle irate callers and resolve conflicts effectively.

Strong multitasking skills to manage various responsibilities efficiently.

Exceptional teamwork skills with a collaborative and supportive approach.

Effective communication skills with a pleasant and empathetic attitude.

Ability to remain organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
