Associate, Warehouse

POSITION PROFILE

Responsible for performing various duties within a given department in the warehouse. Position requires the ability to complete assigned tasks and meet productivity and/or quality standards within allotted timeframes. Adheres to OSHA regulations in performing work tasks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

?· Jobs can include shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, material handling, loading, and unloading trucks.

?· Responsible for the safe operation and use of any material handling or dock equipment i.e., pallet jacks.

?· Ensures all paperwork is completed and properly processed.

?· Can be required to non-powered Material Handling equipment (Training may be required).

?· Efficiently completes all activities assigned by warehouse supervisor or Team Lead.

?· Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed at all times.

?· Must have ability to learn various warehouse functions and processes.

?· Responsible for adhering to all OSHA requirements (training will be provided).

?· Financial Responsibility: can handle equipment valued up to $150,000.

?· Works as part of a team that must have coordinated work efforts to complete department and overall operational goals.

?· Meets appropriate productivity /quality standards relative to job responsibility as outlined by manager.

?· Will be required to work at a rapid pace to meet work deadlines.

?· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications)

Typically Required:

?· Warehouse experience a plus but not required

Must have adequate reading and math skill, and ability to write legibly.

?· Must be physically able to perform assigned tasks including walking, standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods of time and ability to lift from 50, up to 100 pounds.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, And Abilities

?· Must have ability to listen to direction, manage time and complete all work as assigned within established timeline.

?· Must be a team player and have the ability to interact with fellow workers.

Working Conditions, MENTAL aND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

?· Typically, a warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

?· Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data, and instruction ?· prepare, provide, and convey diversified information.

?· Physical effort is required in the lifting of tool cases, and assorted equipment weighing from 50 pounds up to 100. pounds, as well as the ability to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 700 pounds.

?· Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling are required to service equipment at floor level.
