EJ has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Distribution Clerk. (2pm - 10:30pm)

SUMMARY

This job consists of performing all clerical functions of a Distribution Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Operates PC based shipping scale

Keeps an accurate log of daily traffic transactions

Verifies weights of product/scrap received and shipped

Prepares and reviews shipping documents

Receives and directs incoming calls to appropriate personnel

Helps service customers including truck drivers

Prepares outgoing mail

Assists Office Manager with all general office tasks

Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
