Summary You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the ORDNANCE PROGRAM of NMC CWD DET SB/FALLBROOK ANNEX. Responsibilities You will receive, review, and monitor incoming requisitions and take appropriate action to ensure completion. You will provide detailed technical advice and assistance in areas of specialized ordnance management to support the Fleet. You will take appropriate action to correctly classify material on automated records and schedule necessary physical changes with the appropriate personnel. You will manage conventional ammunition and associated components and hardware to maintain accountability of assets. You will develop and maintain magazine and warehouse grids reflecting space occupied by hazard class, compatibility groups, and net explosive Weight (NEW). You will produce the yearly physical inventory schedule of locations requiring annual and semi-annual counts. You will be responsible for the preparation, review, issuance, and follow up of detailed load plans and schedules. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating inventory management operations to analyze requirements and monitor the receipt, storage, and availability of materials (e.g., ordnance, ammunition, arms, explosives) to ensure accurate control, safety and record keeping of a command's inventory.
