Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

As an Assembly Technician, you will work on assembly lines building hydraulic pumps for various sizes of equipment used in the field. Using hand and power tools, you will assemble parts according to specifications, ensuring quality and precision. Your day will involve building the same pump throughout, while occasionally assisting with other pumps. You will also use presses to finalize pumps and place completed products into testing cells to ensure there are no leaks.

Responsibilities

Assemble hydraulic pumps using hand and power tools.

Work according to specifications and blueprints.

Assist with the assembly of various @types of pumps as needed.

Operate presses to finalize pump assembly.

Test completed products for leaks in testing cells.

Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude.

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Attention to detail.

Capability to stand on feet for the entire shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous industrial or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Reliable transportation.

Willingness to learn and self-motivation.

Ability to work well with a great attitude.

Experience with mechanical assembly and measuring tools is beneficial.

We offer full benefits and a potential pay increase after 90 days of continuous employment. Our attendance bonuses reward commitment: a $250 payout after three weeks of perfect attendance and a $500 payout after 90 days of consistent attendance (less than 3% absenteeism).

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility. The schedule includes two shifts: 1st shift from 6 AM to 4 PM and 2nd shift from 8 PM to 6 AM, Monday through Thursday, with occasional work on Fridays if needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
