What You Will Do :

Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions using Google Vertex AI and Gemini models.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub actions.

Build and optimize generative AI and agentic AI systems for real-world applications in secure environments.

Integrate AI solutions across multi-cloud platforms, including AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, and Azure OpenAI.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI strategies, architectures, and deployment pipelines.

Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards in all AI implementations.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

What You Will Need :

Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.

Bachelor's degree is required

Minimum FIVE (5) years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on generative AI and agent-based systems.

Experience with GCP services and infrastructure design.

Deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud AI tools, including Vertex AI, AutoML, and Gemini APIs.

Proficiency with AWS AI/ML services (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock) and Azure AI (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services).

Strong programming skills in Python and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.

Proven ability to work in secure, mission-critical environments.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

Master's degree

Experience with LLM fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, or multi-agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI).

Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices in secure cloud environments.

Experience with monitoring tools and observability practices.

Google Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect).

Prior work supporting DoD, IC, or federal government AI initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
