Parking Division

Full-time position (37.5 hours/week - 5 day work week) - Schedule is: Tuesday thru Saturday 3:45pm to Midnight

The Parking Division is currently looking for an enthusiastic cashier with great customer service skills who enjoys working in a team setting. If you enjoy working with the public by providing much needed parking services, this could be a great fit.

We utilize a variety of techniques and programs to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for our customers. If you enjoy a challenge working in a sometimes fast paced environment, we would love to hear from you. The ability to communicate clearly is a must, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Requirements:

Previous customer service experience and excellent customer service skills.

Ability to learn and operate cash registers in a Windows-based computer environment.

Ability to work in a team setting.

Ability to make change and fill out accurate reconciliation reports.

Ability to learn basic data entry tasks.

Ability to interact with City employees and the public in a courteous, helpful manner.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work day and night shifts including weekends and holidays.

Ability to withstand cold temperatures during the winter months, and hot temperatures during the summer months.

Ability to operate two-way radios and communicate with other employees via radio.

Ability to be on foot for extended periods of time.

Salary & Benefits:

This is a union position, CEBA (Grade 4) - Pay starting at \$19.03/hour. This position also earns an extra 45 cents per hour for Shift Differential pay.
