Schedule: Shifts that can include days/nights/weekends/holidays/OT
Key Responsibilities
Perimeter and Area Patrols: Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the property, identifying and addressing any potential vulnerabilities or suspicious activities.
Incident Response and Crisis Containment: Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or threats. Assess and contain situations to minimize disruption and maintain a safe environment.
Guest and Vendor Coordination: Manage the arrival and departure of guests and vendors, ensuring proper access control and seamless integration into the client's environment.
Secure Transportation and Route Planning: We provide secure and efficient transportation services, including detailed route planning, to mitigate risks and ensure safe travel for clients and family members.
Predictive Thinking: Anticipate potential threats and vulnerabilities, implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks before they arise.
Customer Service and Emotional Intelligence: When interacting with family, guests, and team members, maintain professionalism and empathy to ensure effective communication and a positive experience.
Family-Centric Discretion: Provide vigilant protection while respecting the family's privacy, routines, and personal space, ensuring a secure yet low-profile presence.
Adaptability and Conflict Avoidance: Adjust security strategies to accommodate unique situations and client preferences, de-escalating potential conflicts proactively to maintain a peaceful environment.
Technological Proficiency and Environmental Awareness: To monitor the property effectively, utilize advanced security technologies, such as surveillance systems and alarms. Thoroughly understand the property's layout, including entry points, blind spots, and high-traffic areas, to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Low-Light Operations and Stress Resilience: Perform patrols and security tasks effectively in low-light conditions, maintaining vigilance and composure. Remain calm and focused under pressure during emergencies or high-stakes situations.
Time Management and Focus: During extended shifts, maintain sharp attention to detail and execute all security tasks diligently and thoroughly.
Reports and Records: Prepare detailed and legible reports and records documenting equipment status, accidents, fires, bomb threats, unusual incidents, or unlawful acts occurring within the assigned area of responsibility.
Licensing Requirements
Applicable state security licenses.
Valid, unrestricted (except eyeglass wear) state driver's license with a clean driving record.
First Aid, CPR, and AED for Adults, Children, and Infants.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant military, law enforcement, executive protection, or Residential security roles.
Must be capable of withstanding the physical demands of the job and responding effectively to emergency situations; applicants are required to pass a physical fitness test to demonstrate readiness and ability.
Must successfully pass a weapons qualification course.
Must be free from current derogatory financial status, including current unpaid taxes, bankruptcy, and delinquent debt.
Possess self-confidence, poise, and the ability to make sound decisions and react quickly under stressful conditions.
Understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures.
Demonstrated sound judgment, reliability, and integrity in personal and professional conduct.
Proficient in both communication and dictation.
Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
Must possess a good understanding of the latest technology in security camera systems, use of smartphones, communications, and collaboration apps.
Must possess a solid work history with no significant disciplinary actions or infractions.
Demonstrated skill in preparing accurate reports documenting incidents, observations, and activities supporting client needs.
Must pass a criminal background check and have no felony convictions, no misdemeanor domestic violence convictions and no DUI convictions within the past three years.
Must pass an initial drug screening and comply with period drug testing throughout employment.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform frequent and prolonged physical activities without assistance, including walking, standing, running, sitting and stooping, as required by the demands of the position.
Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly
Physically able to capture and detain individuals if necessary
Prolonged periods sitting of 5+ hours at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment
Prolonged periods of standing on your feet without a break 4-5+ hours
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
Must be able to lift, drag a human up to 200lbs or more, if necessary
Being able to respond to physical attacks, natural disasters, evacuations
