We are looking to fill multiple roles on Gatik's Autonomous Truck Testing Team.

Autonomous Truck Test Drivers (CDL and non-CDL)

Autonomous Truck Remote Supervisors

Why Youll Love This Job:

Consistent Schedule: Work 4 to 5 days a week with 2 to 3 days off. Enjoy your time both on and off the road!

No Delivering: As a test driver or remote supervisor you will strictly focus on helping our engineering team develop safe and reliable self-driving trucks.

Shift Hours: We have afternoon and overnight shifts (7-12-hour shifts).

Weekly Hours: Get 40-45 hours per week, with availability 7 days a week.

Job Type: Permanent

Location: On-site in Denison, TX

Autonomous Truck Test Driver Role:

Operate a 26-30 foot box truck both manually and autonomously

Work directly with our engineers to test the latest in self driving technology

Be able to use computers and other technology in a fast paced environment

Ensure the safety of the vehicle and the travelling public throughout the entire testing process.

Be diligent with your testing assignments to ensure quality feedback to the engineering team

Perform routine vehicle inspections (checking fluid levels, tire pressure, etc.).

Ensure compliance with HOS/DVIRs and with additional compliance requirements related to automated truck testing

Were Looking for Someone Who:

Holds a valid CDL and has 3+ years of driving experience (non-CDL candidates also welcome!).

Has a clean driving record, background check, and drug screen.

Is comfortable driving box trucks (26-30 feet)

Takes initiative, is proactive, and pays attention to detail and safety.

Communicates effectively and works well independently or as part of a team.

Is computer literate and flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekdays, and weekends.

Remote Supervisor Role:

Oversee the safe operation of an autonomous truck from a remote location

Operate a Remote Monitoring System (RMS) to monitor vehicle behavior

Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the vicinity of the vehicle through on-board cameras

Issue movement commands directly to the vehicle as required

Take control of the vehicle as required

Were Looking for Someone Who:

Holds a valid CDL and has 3+ years of driving experience (CDL mandatory)

Puts safety above all

Is computer literate

Will act as the eyes of the truck monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic

Can multitask in a fast-paced environment

Is calm under pressure
