The preferred location for this role is Boulder, CO. May consider one of the following major Space sector locations: Colorado Springs, CO. In this job, you will:
Sets up cost control system, monitors, and controls costs/schedules
Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the customer
Incorporates contractual changes into the control system by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines to include assisting in the development of planning directives
Works closely with Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing in the development and maintenance of the cost/schedule baseline and forecasts for both production labor and material

Basic Qualifications:
Level 2 - Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relatable experience - OR - Master's degree
Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Proven ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet critical milestones
Excellent analytical and reporting skills
Advanced PC skills and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel (i.e. working with pivot tables and vlookup/xlookup)
Ability to organize and explain large amounts of data
Strong communication and presentation skills to management and stakeholders
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Prior program cost control experience
Experience with Cobra and SAP
Prior experience using IBM Financial Planning / Cognos Analytics
Familiarity with FAR/DFAR
Prior related experience with financial analysis and Earned Value Management customer reporting

Primary Level Salary Range: $67,200.00 - $110,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
