How an ITE Systems Administrator Senior will make an impact:
Administer enterprise VMware-based virtualization infrastructures covering vCenter ESXi environments version 6.0 and later.
Install, configure, and integrate servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure.
Monitor, perform backups, troubleshooting and problem resolution for servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure.
Follow STIG and patch procedures to maintain the system.
Develop implementation plans, back-out procedures, and success criteria. Plan and execute systems integration in conjunction with OED.
Analyze network traffic flow and infrastructure capacity assisting in the integration to the GEF platform.
Design, plan, implement, and administer vSphere, vRealize Operations (vRO), vRealize Automation (vRA), vRealize Business (vRB).
Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Maintain 100% accountability of authorized equipment.
Conduct physical inventories, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare adjustment documents.
Coordinate with outside organizations and prepare equipment and documentation for lateral transfers.
Inventory management utilizing an authorized Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) or manual procedures, including but not limited to; Storage of equipment, Receipt of equipment, Issue of equipment, Inventory adjustment to maintain accurate data, Redistribution of equipment as directed by the Government, Retrograde of equipment, Records management to meet audit requirements, DODAAC Coordinator, Financial Liability of Property Loss (FLIPL) Management
Conducts Release Management tasks for solutions coming from vendor/engineer. Tasks include participating in a team that plans, prepares, and executes tests of systems and software to evaluate results against functional, interoperability, and cybersecurity specifications and requirements as well as analyze/report test results.
Assists in the implementation of tested solutions in production; evaluates or develops systems administration standard operating procedures of tested solutions.
Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains lab hardware and servers, software, and system access in a virtual environment in accordance with cybersecurity standards and organizational polices/procedures.
What you'll need to succeed (Required):
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years' experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain required.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II & CompTIA Security+ CE certification required.
Experience with VMWare, Cloud Computing, Computer Servers, Linux

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
