Job Description
Finance Director
We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented leader with a strong bias for action and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, and adept at communicating complex financial information to senior executives. You must possess strong leadership qualities, take ownership of the strategic consumer finance function for Sandisk, drive continuous improvement, establish best practices, and build strong partnerships across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner closely with the Consumer Business leadership team on long-term strategic plans, annual budgets and forecasting
Become a key advisor to Consumer Executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth and achieve business objectives
Oversee the development and maintenance of sophisticated financial models to support strategic decision making, scenario planning, and overall company impact
Work with leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic investment opportunities, assessing financial impact and return on investment to optimize resource allocation
Play a key role in the implementation and refinement of financial processes and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation
Lead a team of financial analysts and managers to enable their growth and success
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
10+ years relevant experience with a publicly held finance organization, with a demonstrated ability to understand profitability drivers and to deliver financial results, coupled with experience in the technology sector are of critical importance
A proven track record of process improvement and experience with financial systems and process change initiatives
SKILLS:
Strong communication and relationship building skills at executive levels, with the ability to interpret and summarize data to aid management in achieving strategic and operational goals
The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with excellent verbal/communications skills and a thoughtful, persuasive personal style
A highly metrics-driven individual with strong analytical abilities
Systems savvy and comfortable with data driven environments
Confidence and presence collaborating with and presenting to executive staff
Ability to effectively manage projects; results oriented and able to roll-up sleeves to accomplish necessary tasks
A self-starter comfortable in a project-oriented environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
MBA preferred - Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and modeling skills are assumed

An employee's pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Sandisk's Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
