The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialistcollects and tracks payments, maintains accurate records,
makes deposits, and generates financial reports to track profits and losses for East House and its
affiliates. Other duties include managing customer payments and invoices,
Requirements
Invoicing, Billing & Payment Collection
Manages invoicing for goods or services provided to clients.
Collects payments, tracks outstanding balances, and interacts with customers regarding
payment-related matters.
Accurately bills and records client fees, manages client payments, communication, and debt
agreements.
Monitors, collaborates on collectability, and processes refunds upon client discharge.
Manages customer relationships, including managing payment reminders, billing disputes,
and establishing payment plans if necessary.
Efficiently manages accounts receivable to optimize cash flow, ensuring timely collections and
reducing bad debt.
Accurate Accounts Receivable
Maintains records, prepares reports, updates client accounts, and handles billing using Fund
EZ accounting software.
Manages monthly journal entries, reconciles client aging, and maintains accurate records.
Maintains aging reports, tracking outstanding invoices and overdue/pending payments.
Accounting Support
Assists with journal entry preparation, generates reports, manages invoice communication, and
provides administrative and bookkeeping support.
Other Duties
Follows all applicable policies, federal and state laws, and East House compliance standards.
Collaborates with the Office of Ethics, Compliance & Quality to address non-compliance, and
documenting corrective actions.

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
Equivalent experience in lieu of education may be considered.
Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in Accounting, Billing, or other relevant
experience preferred.
Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience
Proficient in basic accounting principles and PC use with strong data entry abilities.
Intermediate MS Excel proficiency as evidenced by the ability to perform all of the basic
functions as well as the ability to use workbooks, link data, create and edit charts, change
page orientation, add headers and footers, filter and sort lists, format and/or manipulate
data, insert rows, enter and sort data and produce graphs and charts.
Prior experience in bookkeeping/administration, handling large datasets, managing finances,
and successfully performing tasks simultaneously desired.
Able to manage multiple projects, maintain accuracy, and handle financial software
proficiently.
Excellent time management, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with general ledgers, analyzing financial data, and identifying cost-saving
opportunities.
Competency in financial software like QuickBooks or Fund EZ, with strong math skills and
attention to detail.
Proficient understanding of accounting practices, collaborating for financial health, and
supporting finance professionals.

Working Conditions/Work Environment
Traditional office environment. Occasionally subjected to pressure due to time demands. May
have to travel to various program locations which may not be accessible for individuals with
reduced mobility.

$21.00-$21.50
