Overview

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Solution Sales Manager - Mid-Market to drive the execution of a strategic vision that maximizes the combined impact of GitHub and Microsoft across diverse market segments to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
This role will build trusted relationships with senior leaders, aligning business priorities to drive growth through strategic account and territory planning. You will collaborate across internal teams to develop and execute go-to-market and co-selling strategies with Microsoft, leading campaigns and programs that accelerate customer success. The position requires strong leadership in resolving complex escalations, driving sales transformation, and enabling field teams through training, capability building, and market insights. Success in this role means delivering measurable co-sell results, expanding partnerships, and shaping the long-term strategic direction of the GitHub-Microsoft alliance.
Responsibilities
GitHub Business Leader
Leads the execution of GitHub and Microsoft partnership to attain revenue targets; accelerating growth through programmatic motions, strategic deal support/execution, and relationship building.
Drives the GitHub/Microsoft business through semi-annual planning and regular business reviews to track plan performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
Identifies and clearly articulates business opportunities for stakeholders and recommends ways to pursue them.
Fosters a broad stakeholder map to bring recommendations to market.
Advises GitHub and Microsoft field leaders on various programs, initiatives, incentives, and products to inform GTM, serving as trusted advisor to senior leaders.
Microsoft co-sell and consumption
Builds regional strategy and executes on programs, operations, and motions with various functional areas across the GitHub and Microsoft field teams.
Supports customer and partner escalations at early and late stages of deal cycle.
Demonstrates an expert understanding of the GitHub and Microsoft business, GTM, and strategy.
Facilitates GitHub/Microsoft joint sales at the regional level by connecting Microsoft and GitHub executives to run business reviews.
Team Performance and Impact
Collaborates with other Corporate/Enterprise Solution Sales (C/ESS) and Partner Development Managers (PDMs) to scale impact globally and across segments.
Brings quantitative and qualitative insights to the global strategy teams based on field exposure to inform strategic roadmap, championing internal processes that benefit field teams.
Monitors market landscape and uses this knowledge to influence the local strategy in business planning decisions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
7+ years experience in Alliance Management, sales, business development, go-to-market, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or related field AND 5+ years experience in Alliance Management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or related field AND 3+ years experience in Alliance Management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience
OR equivalent experience.
2+ years experience co-selling with, through, or into Microsoft's field sales organizations.
Ability to travel up to 25% when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference for candidates to be located in the San Francisco Bay Area or Seattle, WA area to best support business needs.
Direct experience with co-selling with, through, or into GitHub's field sales organizations.
Experience defining, piloting, incubating, implementing and scaling programmatic sales programs in the field.
Successful management of complex deal cycles in mid-market to enterprise accounts for Application Development, Cloud Deployment services, or DevSecOps offerings.
Strong relationship building and deal structuring skills for both consumption and subscription based software products.
Executive level communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to mentor others.
Compensation Range
The base salary range for this job is USD $75,420.00 - USD $200,100.00 /Yr.
In addition, this role also has the opportunity to earn sales incentives. On target earnings (OTE) is based on a 60/40 base salary/sales incentive.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
