Responsibilities

Physical therapists are health care professionals who help individuals maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and functioning, thereby enabling optimal performance and enhancing health, well-being, and quality of life. Their services prevent, minimize, or eliminate impairments of body functions and structures, activity limitations, and participation restrictions. Physical therapy is provided for individuals of all ages who have or may develop impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions related to (1) conditions of the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, pulmonary, and/or integumentary systems or (2) the negative effects attributable to unique personal and environmental factors as they relate to human performance.

Qualifications

Successful completion of an accredited physical therapy educational program and passed approved licensing exam. Must be able to travel between sites as needed.

Additional Qualifications

Doctor of Physical Therapy, APTA Board Certified Specialist preferred.

License or Certification

Current Minnesota License to practice Physical Therapy or eligible for a Minnesota License. Current BLS certification or completion within 60 days of hire.

If required to provide therapy services in another state, will be required to have a current license to practice Physical Therapy in that state.

This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship and we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position including F1 OPT Stem.

32 hours per week outpatient coverage with occasional inpatient coverage.
