Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Accounting/HR Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting/HR Clerk, you will be part of the accounting department supporting HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, be highly organized, and have good attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting/HR Clerk

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Pay Range: $18-22 DOE

What's the Job?

Learn and function in one or more clerical accounting roles including, but not limited to AP, AR, invoicing.

Play an active role in continuous improvement within the accounting department and contribute feedback to assist in automation and process improvement efforts.

Assist with HR functions including scheduling prospective employee interviews, completing employee onboarding and paperwork, and managing HR and employee files.

Partner with various internal groups to ensure successful execution of accounting and HR functions.

Utilize MS Office applications to complete job responsibilities.

What's Needed?

2-year degree in accounting preferred.

1 year experience in a similar role.

Must be highly organized and have good attention to detail.

Prefer someone who has worked previously in a manufacturing company in a similar role.

Need to have good computer/excel skills and have operated on ERP systems other than Quickbooks.
