Job Title: Facilities and Maintenance

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities and Maintenance Person to perform a variety of maintenance and setup tasks. This role is physically demanding and requires a proactive individual who is comfortable with basic hand tools and light physical labor.

Responsibilities

Set up chairs for meetings and hang pictures.

Perform light snow shoveling during winter months.

Change tanks of specialty gases and replace damaged ceiling tiles.

Utilize basic hand tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, tape measures, and hand power drills.

Comfortably use a ladder and lift up to 50 pounds.

Be the first technician onsite every morning to handle early tasks.

Essential Skills

Basic knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance techniques.

Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.

Ability to read and write in English.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1+ year of experience in a maintenance technician or groundskeeping role.

High School Diploma required.

Experience with HVAC and boiler systems is a plus but not necessary.

Work Environment

You will be centrally located in building 322 but will need to move around the property for various tasks throughout the day. The role involves standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with 95% of the day spent actively moving.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
