This position may be covered by a Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association (VEBA) JOB DUTIES: As a Business Compliance Specialist, you will manage a compliance review case load in the areas of Wage and Hour, Employment Verification, Prevailing Wage, Workers' Compensation, Contractor Registration, Independent Contractor, and other programs supported by ESD. Duties include reviewing employer business practices and conducting compliance reviews of records and business operations. Much of the work involves interpreting and determining the rights of parties arising under often disputed contractual issues involving oral and written employment agreements, contracts, and personnel policies.
