IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer

CTG is seeking to fill an IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer opening for our client in Dallas, TX.

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 8 months

Duties:

Administer, configure, and maintain IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions, including IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, and Sterling Secure Proxy.

Monitor file transfer processes to ensure successful, timely, and secure data movement between systems and partners.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to file transfers, connectivity, and system performance.

Implement enhancements, upgrades, and patches to Sterling MFT environments.

Work closely with internal teams and external partners to design and implement file transfer solutions that meet business and security requirements.

Maintain system documentation, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry regulations.

Skills:

Proficiency in IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, and Sterling Secure Proxy administration.

Strong knowledge of secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2).

Experience with MFT troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring tools.

Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in administering and supporting IBM Sterling MFT solutions.

Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure file transfer solutions.

Proven track record in resolving complex integration and connectivity issues.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
